Simon Simon is a mostly dialogue-free short written, produced and directed by 1970s comedy stalwart Graham Stark (Alfie) alongside his frequent collaborator John Junkin.

The plot, such as it is, concerns Stark and Junkin operating a crane and getting into increasing trouble while Stark also tries to romance a shy office worker (Foster, also Alfie).

It was released as a B-feature, and various British stars of the day who were friends with Stark and Junkin cameo as themselves, including Michael Caine, David Hemmings, Peter Sellers, Tony Blackburn, Bob Monkhouse and Eric Morecambe. Caine only appears for a few seconds, watching as Stark pastes Norman Rossington’s name over his in a poster for Play Dirty.
